Thanks for the comment, I think I may have increased contrast a tad too
much, but I'm still thinking about it.
I don't like shad so I've never actually stopped at one either.
The copyright notice is trivially simple, if you have Photoshop. Just
create a text layer, (I usually use white for the text color), apply
shading, (I like pillow emboss), and set the opacity to about 50%,
sometimes more sometimes a bit less depending on the subject.
I know someone who actually created an action to do this.
