I received one of those new tens as change yesterday. Looked 
like monopoly money. I actually went to the bank to make sure it 
was real money. The US dollar has sure changed. Sad thing is it 
is only worth about ten cents compared to the old real gold 
backed ten dollar bill, I guess the change in color is over due.

Ever since the Treasury began this redesign program in 1996 or 
so, it has seemed that U.S. currency is coming to look more and 
more like French currency.

I love France, but never liked the old franc notes.
