No - it's perfectly clear. They support the (defined) SD standard, which goes up to 2GB. They plan to support drives larger than 2GB using the SDHC standard (although this will require a future firmware upgrade) Any drives larger than 2GB being sold today are probably using undefined extensions to the SD standard.
