I live and work in a very rural area. Using a 4X4 is a necessary part of my job, I don't see a choice in it. For our family car, I chose a 4X4 because we need lots of space and it is more economical than the depreciation on numerous other vehicles that won't last as long. It has an aluminium body, so it does not rust, although there are plenty of steel components that will, of course. It is not cheap to run, but losing 20% of the value of a brand new car in the first year of ownership - even small economical ones - is not my idea of ecological! To each our own :-) Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
