My boyfriend Nate, who has been doing SLR photography
since he was a kid, has eschewed it for a digital
P&S with a zoom lens, because of the instant
gratification he gets from being able to see his
photos right away.
Then last Sunday, I dragged him to a photography
lecture at the New York Botanical Gardens. The
photographer showed two trays of slides. Nate was very
interested in the slides. We got to spend a couple
of hours shooting before the gardens closed. I guess Nate
was frustrated because he couldn't get the kinds of shots
he wanted.
The result? He's bidding on not one, but TWO K1000's
on ebay. *smirk*
