I was responding to someone who said he doesn't put his 85 in his
walkabout kit, which I take to be his take-everywhere kit. I don't put
the 77 in my take-everywhere kit, either, but I do put it in my bag
when I'm taking my camera someplace secure (e.g. a friend's house), or
where I think I might shoot portraits, pets or LEGO. It's a bit pricey,
though, to be sitting in a bag under a table at, say, a convention,
while I'm off somewhere else with a zoom lens.
In a previous episode I wrote:
