The plant is very low on the ground and getting down to it is painful to say the least. The heavy stand helps a lot and once the camera is set and focussed one can straighten up and make the exposures without peering through the viewfinder. I took at least thirty shots waiting for the flowers to stop quivering in the wind. When the light is right in the forest, from about 12:00 to 15:00, there is always a stiff breeze. Today I'm going to try another area with morning light.

Flower photo is nice, Don. Hard to keep those white petals as well as you did.
