Recently went our for a walk at a local Conservation Area, cool, dark, bit of rainy day.
- Shot everything in Raw. - Back home, imported to PC, - Raw to JPEG conversion via RSE primarily with the default settings. - In Elements, added Name to corner, - Exported to resize and reduce jpeg quality (to about 8) - Uploaded them to the web The pictures looked fine/ok on my pc at home during the Raw Conversion, but now on my PC at work, they are dull, flat, dark, soft. See here: http://www.pbase.com/davekennedy/morris My home monitor is uncalibrated (as is my work monitor), but I'm still surprised to see the images come out like this, as the images were largely converted using defaults. Any thoughts? Is this a: Shooting problem? Raw Workflow Problem? Elements Export problem? Monitor Problem? or all of the above? thanx dk
