Yep, even for those. Manual exposure too. Well, the camera is set to manual exposure and the flash is on E-TTL (for Canon, y'know) automatic, with appropriate compensation. He sets the aperture he wants and the lowest reasonable hand-holdable shutter speed and lets the flash fill in the difference. After working two jobs with him I came to the conclusion that he had the right way of doing things. Worked well with my ist-D and P-TTL flash.
