Hey Bob,
This made it to the list.
I think part of your problem with posting is the way Gmail handles an
initial post.  When you send an email to the list that starts a new
"thread" you will not see it come into your inbox.  You will only see
your post once someone replies to your message.  The email will appear
in your Sent Mail list.

At least that how it works for me,
