I wonder what the yield rate on those are? One per 100 wafers? One per 1000? I would guess that they would essentially be a whole wafer per chip, so each wafer would have to be nearly perfect. Can anyone spell "expensive"? If they can mass produce those (the article sounds like it is a one-off), they have made a real break-through in wafer technology.
