That's good news on a couple of fronts. If you recall, a Pentax rep said that, when the SDHC spec is standardized, Pentax will issue firmware that will allow the use of 4GB SD cards. So, it looks like we're a step or two closer in that regard. And, when there are more SDHC compliant cards available, the 1GB and 2GB cards might drop even further in price.
The 80X 1GB Transcend card is now selling for less than $25.00 @ New Egg, and the 150X 2GB card has dropped below $45.00. The price drop for these and other brands has been fast and steep the past couple of months.
