FWIW, I submit to the PUG whenever I remember & have an image worthy of 
submission. I solicit comments, good bad or indifferent. If I get comments, 
so much the better. I very seldom question a negative comment - its only an 
opinion.
I look at all the PUGS but do not comment on every image reviewed. When I do 
comment I will either complement the photographer or offer an idea on how 
the image could be improved in my opinion.
I also believe that since it is a gallery it should reflect the best that a 
photog can do.
One of the best ways to improve your photography is to be the best/worst 
critic of your own work.

I like the current way the PUG is run and wouldn't change a thing.
