In order:

>D) Forgot.
>E) Just way too busy.
>B) Couldn't come up with anything suitable.
>R) Other (specify, if you like).

I think the biggest reason for the decline in PUG submissions is the
ready availably of so many other places to show images and the fact
that it's easier to post to these other places. "Easier" in that:
1) You don't have to work to a specific theme
2) You don't have a deadline
3) You don't have to work to a specific image or file size 

(I don't think the PUG requirements are too small, it's just that with
other photo sites, you really don't have to consider image size or
file size at all, within reason.)

The thing is, easier isn't always better. The discipline of shooting
to a specific requirement is good exercise, as is dealing with
deadlines. Even working to the file and image size limitations can
help with some technical skills.

That said, just more reminders would help for me :)
