Pentax UK was listing this lens (A 50 1.2) until quite recently, at a  
recommended price of £600 (UK pounds).

My K version cost me somewhat less, I'm glad to say.  I can't say that  
I've noticed a particular warmth to it, but I've never compared it side by  
side with any other 50mm lens.
