 A waist-level finder can also be very useful when you have the camera set 
really low on a tripod.  You don't have to contort yourself to see through the 
finder :)

 It's also really good if the camera is facing towards the sun.  With the WL 
finder you're looking down so you don't get the sun in your eyes.

 A WL finder is the first thing I'd look for if I had an LX, and it will be the first 
accessory I buy when I get a 67II.
