I'm not familiar with the Phillips LCD screen, but I'm very fond of my Apple 
Cinema Display LCD. I find it much more restful than the Sony trinitron CRT 
that I use at work. The resolution, color, brightness and contrast are the best 
of any monitor I've ever had. However, I must point out that I've never owned a 
top-end CRT. But LCD monitors can be very good and very nice to work with.
