Ann it depends on your definition of work. The lens will mount, there
is no aperture ring, there is no aperture simulator lever. The lens
will always meter at it's maximum aperture, it will always stop down to
it's minimum aperture when you take a picture. If you set the LX to
automatic you will get properly exposed results, (god bless the LX),
however the shutter speed will be at least 5 stops slower than the speed
indicated in the viewfinder. It's designed for an image circle 24mm in
diameter, it may cover quite a bit more than that but there are no
guarantees that anything outside that circle will be sharp or even
visibal at all for that matter.
