The grass stalk needs just a tad more DOF.
I know you can't add DOF, so that's just a comment.
I think that so many fine "hairs" being out of focus confuses. When you have 
to search to see what IS in focus, that's too much work for the casual viewer, 
and he's left with the impression that the weed head is out of focus, when it 
really isn't...
