You seem to be trying to invent a genre unto yourself it seems.
I'm finding these pictures to be a little repetitive, and a little too
minimalist.
Technically, they look fine, but the aesthetic leaves me cold.

Disagree. Even though, Bruce, you've done quite a few of these, I do not find
them overly repetitive. There are some similarities, so you could branch out
a little. But I also think you can still get a lot more out of what you are
doing. You have not exhausted it yet by a long shot.

I find taking a bit of nature and isolating it is a nice way to present
nature. Sort of like the "found object" thing in art. Makes us appreciate the
simple details of Mother Nature. Makes us LOOK at the details. Savor them.

I vote strongly on the other side. You certainly do not need to stop what you
are doing. As said, you might branch out a bit. In whatever direction you
choose. But I find your presentations bordering on the unique (maybe they are,
but I haven't seen that many other photos except those on this list). Sort of
nature haiku. Or short nature poems. Like a kid picking up a bit of nature.
Grabbing a rock, a leaf, whatever that they find that they like. Hmmm, maybe
branch out with some rocks? Hehehehe. Kids know how to appreciate small nature
details like that. And it's something a lot of us lose. Your stuff reminds me.

So please keep it up.

Generally, I find cat pictures boring. And, yes, most of them are repetitive.
A lot of things are. Ansel Adams shot a bunch of rocks over and over. So
something is a little repetitive. So what?
