It is a nice photo. Don't worry, you are fine. You can see the light fall
off in this photo at the corners of the photo compared to the centre of the
photo, the corners are darker, most noticeable in the sky.  If it was just
in one corner it could be the polariser filter, but here it is the light
fall off causing this.
Vignetting would also show in the corners, but much less gradual from the
centre and it might even be much stronger.
