It made me so sad, in a nostalgic kind of way. Makes
me want to pack my bags and leave for Christchurch
tomorrow. I miss so many things: the art centre
markets, Northlands mall, Riccarton Mall, the wizard,
Hagley park in the spring, biking through the snow to
work (tomorrow will be 4 years ago to the day), and
feeding the ducks in the botanical gardens practically
right on the hospital's doorstep where I was studying
at the time.
I think very soon I will have to take 3 weeks off and
hire a car to drive around Christchurch and surrounds.
I have plenty of leave owing. I never had a car when I
lived in Christchurch and was just a poor student, so
didn't do half the things I wanted.
You have a beautiful city, never forget that.
