I've been in touch with a local dealer about the FA-50/1.4, now. They say they don't have it in stock, but will be happy to get it for me. It's going to cost NOK 2550, though, which is equivalent to something like US$410, I always expect prices to be quite a bit higher here than in the US, but perhaps not by this much... Although this figure includes tax, which I'd have to pay anyway if I were to import the lens.
What's a bit strange, is that the same shop lists the FA43 limited at just NOK 2995,- ... (And look, the FA-50 has now also turned up on their web page. It wasn't here before I asked.
