Shot this a few years ago in Bridgeport, CA while on an Eastern Sierra drive. (Hwy 395). Call it, "Soft Evenings". Trespassed 25 yards or so and did a quick hand held ME Super w/28mm-M. Taken during an early evening stroll trying to get the circulation back in our legs (wife and I) after a long drive. This was among a few cabins, sheds and the like which appeared to be in sort of an arrested state of decay. I dimmed it some to assimilate evening and to add a softer feeling. Tried a B&W conversion, but lacked some of the subtle definition afforded by a slight color variance. Always thought of it in semi monotone anyway. Tilted door frame and far right post are the only "issues" I've had with it. Shot at a slightly low angle which is, of course, emphasized be the field of view. Back edge of porch floor looks fairly level and supports the idea that I likely held the camera near level. I realize I can tweak the tilt, but hate to lose even a splinter. These points are mentioned for your much appreciated thoughts.
