Yes, I'd like to add more RAM, but I don't want to spend my own money on it. The company owns the computer. It has 1 gig, and it seems to do alright with PhotoShop. I retouched a 300 meg photo on Friday with no problems. I'm a writer, so this computer is more than what is designated for the job. But I do some art direction and photo retouching in my spare time, so I get a hopped up writer computer. My dual 1.25 G4 desktop that I use for most of my photo work has 2 gigs, and it runs very well. You're right, emory does make a significant difference.
