For good examples of magic hour you can do far worse than have a look at photos by Steve McCurry and David Alan Harvey, who are 2 long-time contract photographers for National Geographic, and Magnum members. Personally I find it can get a bit tiresome, always this harsh, heavy contrast, but they are both great photographers and I wish I had one tenth of their skill. http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/htm/TreePf_MAG.aspx?Stat=Photographers_P ortfolio&[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/htm/TreePf_MAG.aspx?Stat=Photographers_P ortfolio&[EMAIL PROTECTED] Harry Gruyaert is another Magnum photographer who never goes out unless the sun is below the yard arm. He uses a lot of heavy fill flash though. But take a look at his Morocco portfolio. http://www.magnumphotos.com/c/htm/TreePf_MAG.aspx?Stat=Photographers_P ortfolio&E=29YL53IRSE8 Bob -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
