Amita, I've been using the P2000 since last year's UK trip. I transfer 1-2G SD cards and 1-2-4G CF cards with it.
- It takes about 3 minutes or so to transfer a full 1G Sandisk Ultra II SD card. - I find that I get about 12-13 1G SD card transfers per charge. I've not done enough CF card transfers to know specifically for them. - I charge the Li-Ion battery in the unit, takes about 2.5 hours from completely flat to fully charged. So far, I haven't seen the need for a spare battery. It's an excellent storage unit. I've not had a single problem with it. It also allows me to present work with an overhead projector or television very easily using a standard Radio Shack CamCorder A/V cable (L-R audio, RGB composite inputs). Highly recommended.
