This doesn't make sence to me Mark. The painter often starts with the same thing - what he sees with his eyes - or what he imagines in his mind. So does the photographer. It's really the same: Humans making images with what ever tools he/she finds suitable to work with. What count's is - IMO - the result, the image - not which tools were used.
