During the long (July 4) weekend we went to the Central Coast region
of California.
(For those who don't know, this is a beautiful area just north of Santa
Barbara, which became especially popular as a wine-making country
after the movie "Sideways" came out a few years ago).

We tasted a lot of wine there, found a few really good ones.
The views were something that we enjoyed the most.
To me, there is some magic in the straight lines of the vine with
mountains in the background:

I also tried to play with it a little bit, creating what I associate
with Nikolai Roerich's "himalayan" sky colors.

(see e.g. "Tibet. Himalayas" and "Kanchenjunga" from this page:

This place looks unreal to me, both in reality and on the photo.

Comments, suggestions and critique are welcome.
