I pre-ordered my *ist-D and got it a few weeks after it was generally available (my local store is not high on the distributor's priority list.) I have pre-ordered the K10D, again through my local store, and will have it as soon as it comes in. If I had to have it in hand immediately for some reason I would go through B&H but would rather support my local guy. I sure haven't done much for his film sales in the last couple of years!
