They may very well choose to prosecute. Prosecution is their job, never mind the guilt or innocence of the prosecuted. People in these jobs look for and must find things wrong in order to justify their reason for employement. Granted one picture does not make a person a pedophile. I agree that the chances are slim, but lots of people in these jobs (police, social worker's) are themselves victims of abuse and ride high white horses from which they can abuse others, enforcing some sick form of social justice. One step leads to another... a psycho corporate techno-spy finds it and reports it. Someone else feels wrongly duty-bound to call local law enforcement... maybe they find other things on your computer totally unrelated but draw some sort of perverse connection. The cops show up at one's workplace... A judge is duty-bound to allow a court case to proceed because *if the allegations are true a crime has been comitted*... In this country though where Moms can be arrested and thrown in jail because some dork deputy sheriff thinks she should be the subject of a dependency & neglect case because her toddlers have a sunburn at the state fair.... I think we've gone down a similar road before on the list. Tom C. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
