The less dramatic reaction to the "earth warming" contention is that
the earth has always been in an endless process or either warming or
cooling.
Standard reaction; true, but it's the rate or warming, in this current
cycle, that has some folks excited. 
I'm sure the movie will "confirm" the concerns of a lot of viewers.
