Hi Francis,

That is my travel combo, DA16-45 and DA50-200. The 16-45 is highly 
regarded and the image quality approaches those of primes; it's not 
without flaws though, wide open it's acceptably sharp in the center and 
a bit soft towards the edges, stop down slightly and you get *extra 
crisp* images out of this lens. :-)

I'm not big on consumer telezooms in the 50/55/70/80-200/210/300mm range 
but the DA50-200 is more than acceptable, even wide open it's good 
enough for holiday shooting, add it's small size and it's light weight 
to the mix and you get a winner. I usually use this lens in bright 
daylight (it's a great summer lens) stopped down to F8, doesn't 
disappoint me. For evening/night shooting, this lens is almost worthless 
without a tripod.
