The FA was a rebadged first generation Tamron. Tamron has come out with several new generations since. I found the lens test from Popular Photography for the XR: http://www.popphoto.com/cameralenses/299/tamron-28-200mm-f38-56-xr-af.html I had the FA version and came to love it for cycling and hiking. Then I dropped it and that was that. I'm still keeping an eye out for a used replacement, even though the FA 28-105 powerzoom I bought soon after gives better images. -- Steve Sharpe [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://earth.delith.com/photo_gallery.html -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
