That was a bit of tongue-in-cheek on my part.  I just can't resist an
opportunity to take a jab at Rover (did someone say "spontaneous
combustion"?).

As for Nissan, I'm on my second and couldn't be happier.  I've read
the numbers, but my own (very limited) experience is far different.
Both Nissans, a 94 pickup and an 03 Xterra, have required little more
than routine maintenance.  The 94 had some A/C problems and the 03 had
a leaking fuel injector.  Both problems were fixed under warranty.
The two Dodge pickups I've owned were lemons.  Granted, my father has
an F150 (4.9L straight six) with almost 300,000 miles on it that's
been relatively trouble-free.
