Imatest is something you can do at home with a little investment. Other sites, like for instance Photozone.de, publish imatest results as well. To go of at a tangent: Klaus from Photozone has said he will test all Pentax lenses he can get his hands on as soon as he has a 10Mp Pentax body. People in the EU might want to consider lending out their lenses to him. He covers the (insured) shipping.
