Actually, The D was in TV mode. I want to control the shutter speed with a long lens. So I went to TV and dialed in 1/1000th. I've never tried M mode with an A lens, although I use it all the time with K and M lenses. Paul On Jul 29, 2006, at 5:26 PM, Jack Davis wrote:
