I have a teeny-tiny 5MP Panasonic/Leica that we got a little under two years ago due to the impending arrival of Number One Son. It's a DMC something-or-other 1, don't think it's the same model you won.
The good: a great LCD, better than the DS2 and much better than the D or DS; stabilization works well; 2.8 lens at the wide end; makes remarkably good videos; really small. The bad: tops out at a really noisy ISO 400; pretty severe barrel distortion at the wide end. For a point and shoot it delivers a good image, and it gets a good amount of family snapshot use.
