My galleries are created with BBPro using the "EOS" template from Peter Berger
http://www.eostemplate.com (no you don't have to have a canon to use
the template :-) )
While the images will be in the browser cache, the casual user when
doing a "right-click, save-as" will only save the transparent gif
which overlays the image.
The more determined user would still be able to locate the image but
it does deter theft a bit.

As far as sales being down, I have noticed more people are ordering
collages from me this year. They already have a few of the
bog-standard "dog going through tyre" shots and want something a
little different. Perhaps you could add that option to see if you can
boost sales.
