Reminds me of the time a product I was working on was going to be
shipped to a customer with an entirely new, mostly untested, database
layer. In the kickoff meeting the customer finally asked if they were
getting beta code. My boss with a straight face said "No it's not." No
lie that, it was alpha code...
Needless to say, my former employer is no longer really in the business...
