Making assumptions about the Pentax 10Mpixel body before it's been shown is ridiculous.
The Sony Alpha was on display at the Sony store in SF this evening. I spent a little time playing with it. Seems to focus well, has a decent viewfinder, and is responsive. The body isn't as nice a fit to my hands as the Pentax *ist DS and feels a little cheaper. That's about all I can say about it from my brief encounter. I presume they're selling them.
