Keith, I have turn the AC on when it is 75 out, forget about
100!

I just saw this post this morning - not sure when you
actually sent it.

I can't take the heat _at all_ -- I went out in the morning
each day it was over 95
to Whole Foods to eat grits and read the paper - went' to
the movies 4 times in mid
afternoon (and I never go to the movies in theaters anymore)
if our power had gone
out I would have headed to a friends house where the AC
worked.

Con Edison clearly cut back the power in our neighborhood --
because I had
to crank up the fridge to the highest setting to get it as
low as 50. Fortunately,
I don't eat a lot of meat.

I filled the freezer with bottles of water to make it work
like an old fashioned ice box
should the power fail totally.

One day the movie I saw was the Gore film - showing at a
theatre only 7 blocks from me
called the Sunshine.

I'm feeling very perky today - the AC is only a few feet
from my computer and the
temp outside is supposed to stay under 90.

Thanks for thinking of me :)
