I agree completely. I did four jobs for a client using a Sony F707 a few years back. First time through I did a test pass, I was skeptical that the quality would be there and was ready to fall back to a film camera, but after one look at the results the client was ecstatic. It saved a ton of money and the quality was just fine for the purpose of the work. I just arranged a few jobs today with another client. I'll use either the Pentax DS or the Sony R1 to complete it.
