G'day Glen. I have a 4gig AGL brand Sd card currently in use in the *ist Ds running the latest firmware. The Ds tells me that this card will hold 373 raw files.
The card has been formated in the Ds as well as on the computer via card reader and is working fine. Yesterday I took 178 RAW images using this card with no problems. I also have a AGL 2 gig card that works 100%. I intend to get an SD to CF adaptor and see how these cards work in the *ist D. Hooroo. Regards, Trevor. Thanks, everyone. Looks like I'll be getting a pair of 2 gig cards instead of the 4 gig. Everyone seems to like NewEgg, so I'll probably buy from them. Special thank you to Godfrey, for the alert about older card readers. I have no idea if my SanDisk 5-in-1 reader falls into that problem category. It's less than one year old, so hopefully it will work okay.
