Kodak is shutting down some or all of its Kodachrome processing capability in Switzerland, the only place in Europe where it's currently being done.
Here's the catch: The headline says "Kodak announces end dates for Kodachrome motion picture film processing". Note MOTION PICTURE FILM PROCESSING. ...but in the body of the release it says "Effective September 30, 2006, Kodak will discontinue all Kodachrome processing activities at its photo processing lab in Renens, Switzerland due to low volumes." That's ALL Kodachrome processing. So is it just motion picture (Super 8 and 16mm) or all Kodachrome? My bet is the latter.
