I read them. For anyone who cares to double check my math (not a bad idea with my recent track record) his first "Hi, there" post was 6/3/05 and his last post was 6/21/05. Other than a mud-slinging match with JCO concerning eBay ethics, he wasn't abrasive at all. I rather enjoyed reading some of those messages again. His final post was simply part of a conversation. No huffing, puffing, "you guys suck", "kiss my ass, Wheatfield", nothing. He just disappeared. Just to prove I currently have too much time on my hands, I read a few other threads from the same time. I was hoping to find a really nasty flame war. Or maybe a post where I called someone a dirty, nasty whore for mentioning their Leica or some such. I thought I might find something that possibly turned his stomach. Nada. As far as I can tell, June before last was rather tame.
