ACR settings stored in the .xmp files will be embedded into the .dng files when you convert. Is there a reason to hang onto the PEF files? I don't know ... I have enough spare external hard disk space that I haven't deleted any yet, but I doubt I actually need them. I keep them on a separate hard drive from my archives/backups. If I truly find I don't need them at all, I can just reformat it and forget they existed. Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
