It's a lovely picture, Jack. I agree with the various criticisms, which are technical in nature, but the concept and composition and deep colours work well - for me, anyway - and transcend the slight technical imperfections.
Sounds obvious, but have you had your eyes tested recently? A tendency to over-sharpening could possibly be a response to your seeing blurrily.
