I really can't think of anything that might be improved besides the 
dynamic range. But I'm having a hard time seeing how they might make 
that better, especially if they are using a well-known APS-C-sized 
sensor and/or haven't reduced the sensor noise - and so do most other 
people, that's actually what a large portion of the thread is about.

Unless, that is, they have managed to make a mode where you might read 
(and reset) the sensor multiple times during a long exposure, and add up 
the data in the end.

I'm assuming, of course, that they haven't just stuck in a A/D converter 
with a higher number of bits, as that would actually do nothing 
whatsoever to improve the usable range (but might perhaps help sell a 
few cameras to clueless people...)
