As I mentioned in a previous post, embargoes are basically worthless
unless they are for less than 36 hours. If I'm a big camera company and
I have some tasty gear that will be ready in a month, but the
competition is releasing theirs, I'm going to issue an embargoed press
release right away. It will give out just enough detail to keep things
juicy, without spoiling any last minute changes. I know it will seep out
and spread, that's why I'm issuing it. If I didn't want anyone to know,
I simply wouldn't issue it! Duh!

People here don't understand how companies attempt to use the media for
their own purposes. Nothing happens by accident these days, believe me!
